Straight Talking Digital. Since 2008.
We are Just Digital, a full service digital agency based in Wigan, helping businesses get more from their websites and marketing.
What started as an idea in 2008 has grown into the team we are today. Along the way, digital has changed beyond recognition. We’ve changed with it, building our team and developing what we do around what businesses actually need.
One thing that hasn’t changed is how we work. We care about doing a good job, giving honest advice and building relationships that last. Some of the clients who trusted us in our early years are still with us today.
There’s plenty of experience behind us, but we’re far more interested in what we can do with it next.

Good Work. Good People. Proper Results.
Our Purpose (Why We Exist)
We’re here to help businesses make better use of digital. That means understanding what you want to achieve, being straight with you about what will help and doing work that has a genuine impact on your business.
Our Vision
(WHERE WE ARE GOING)We want Just Digital to be the digital agency businesses trust to tell them what they need to hear, then do what we said we’d do. As we grow, we want to keep building an agency known for its work and the way it treats people. That means developing our team, moving with digital and never losing the personal approach that got us here.
Our Mission
(WHAT WE DO EVERY DAY)We work alongside ambitious businesses to build websites and run digital marketing campaigns that help them grow. Every project starts with understanding the business behind it. From there, our team brings together the right people and the right thinking to produce work with a clear purpose and results we can measure.
What We Stand For
They’re not something we stick on the office wall and forget about. They shape the work we produce, the decisions we make and how we treat the people we work with.
Straight Talking
Say what you mean. Do what you say.Nobody benefits from jargon, vague answers or promises that can't be kept. We’d rather have an honest conversation about what will work, what won’t and where your money is best spent. You’ll always know where you stand with us.
Results First
Good work needs to do its job.A website has a purpose. So does an SEO campaign, an advert or a piece of content. We keep that purpose in sight and measure our work against the things that actually matter to your business.
Care Is Standard
Your business matters to us.We’ve built long client relationships because we care about what happens after the work leaves our hands. We pay attention, take ownership and want to see the businesses we work with do well.
Collab Over Ego
The best idea gets the vote.Nobody has a monopoly on good ideas. We work together, listen to our clients and challenge each other when there’s a better way forward. What matters is getting to the right answer for the project.
Keep Moving Forward
Digital changes. So do we.We’ve worked in digital since the days when Google Maps was new. Standing still was never really an option. We keep learning and improving how we work so our clients benefit from what matters now, rather than what worked five years ago.
Enjoy The Process
We take the work seriously. Ourselves, less so.We spend a lot of time doing this, so we want it to be enjoyable. Good relationships make better projects, which is why we keep things friendly and make sure working with Just Digital feels as good as the finished result.
Our Story
A lot can change in 18 years. Here’s how an idea became Just Digital.
2008
It Started With An Idea
Just Digital’s story actually begins before we started trading.
The business was set up in 2008 while our founder was still working at Mediachain. Just Blackpool, which had launched the year before, was already generating revenue and showed there was a real opportunity in helping businesses get found online.
Digital marketing was still relatively new territory for plenty of businesses. We saw where things were heading and wanted to help them make sense of it.
2009
We Were Up & Running
We officially started trading in 2009, and one of our earliest decisions ended up shaping the business for years to come.
PPC was becoming more expensive and people were starting to trust the ads less, so we moved our focus towards SEO. Keyword SEO began working extremely well for us and, more importantly, it was bringing valuable traffic to our clients.
Google Maps was beginning to take off too. We now had two ways of helping businesses get found, and they were working.
There was just one problem. Some of the websites we were sending people to weren’t turning those visitors into customers.
That gave us our next job to do.
2010
Time To Build
If better visibility was bringing people to a poor website, there was only so much SEO could do. We needed to help clients with what happened after the click too.
We initially outsourced our web design work before recruiting Mike in 2010 and starting to build that capability within the business.
Things were still pretty humble. The whole operation was being run from a spare office belonging to one of our clients at Hindley Business Centre.
We had a team starting to form, services that worked and clients getting results. The foundations were there.
2011
Our Proper Office
In 2011, we left the borrowed office behind and moved into the Observer Building.
Around this period, we recruited our first SEO manager. SEO had become a major part of what we did and we were starting to see strong results for the businesses we worked with. Some of those early clients are still with us today.
We experimented with telesales in the early years too. It taught us something useful:
Our clients weren’t looking for a hard sell. They wanted people who understood their business and would give them proper support.
That lesson stuck.
2013
Ben Joined The Team
The business was growing, which meant the team needed to grow with it.
Ben joined in 2013 as our first dedicated field salesperson, working directly with businesses and helping us develop the more personal approach that had already become important to our clients.
More people followed as we continued building the business and taking on more work.
2016
Bigger Team. Bigger Move.
By 2016, we’d moved into Rodney House and grown to a team of around 14 or 15 people.
What had started in borrowed office space was now an established digital business with its own team and a growing client base.
The technology had moved on considerably since 2009 and so had we, but the principle behind the business was much the same:
To help clients understand digital and stay alongside them as they grow.
2018
Ten Years In
A decade after the original idea, we turned 10.
Those first ten years had taken us from borrowed office space and an emerging SEO market to an established team delivering digital work for businesses that trusted us with their growth.
Plenty had changed. Our original reason for doing it hadn’t.
We still wanted to make digital easier to understand and help businesses use it properly.
2023
We Became Just Digital
This was a big one.
In 2023, Just Internet Solutions became Just Digital, giving us a name that better reflected the agency we’d become and the work we were doing.
The same year also marked an important change behind the scenes as Ben took over the business.
It was a new chapter for the company, building on everything that had come before while giving us a clearer direction for where we wanted to go next.
2024
A New Place To Call Home
In 2024, we moved into the Wigan office we’re in today.
It gave the team a new home for the next stage of Just Digital and somewhere we could keep doing what we’d spent the previous 16 years building towards.
It’s where you’ll find us today.
2026
Eighteen Years. Still Moving.
In 2026, Just Digital turned 18.
From the first SEO campaigns and outsourced websites to the full-service agency we are today, we’ve had to learn, change and keep moving throughout those 18 years.
We’re proud of how far the business has come, but we’re particularly proud that relationships built in those earlier years have lasted. Digital has moved on. The importance of doing good work and looking after people hasn’t.
And we’re nowhere near finished.
The Future
Whatever Comes Next, We’ll Be Ready For It
If 18 years in digital has taught us anything, it’s that trying to predict exactly what comes next is a mug’s game.
Platforms will change. Search will change. AI will change how businesses work and how people find them. There’ll be new opportunities we haven’t even thought about yet.
Our job is to keep learning, work out what genuinely matters and use it where it can make a difference for our clients.
The tools might change. The reason we’re here won’t.
